IDR is seeking a Test Engineer I (1st shift) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, Georgia. This role involves conducting laboratory tests on HVAC products within a manufacturing environment, supporting product engineering, and ensuring testing standards are met. The company operates within the HVAC and refrigeration industry, focusing on innovative solutions and quality assurance.
Position Overview for the Test Engineer I (1st shift):
- Conduct laboratory tests on Mitsubishi HVAC products, including data collection and analysis
- Prepare and set up test equipment as required for each testing procedure
- Manage testing schedules and work closely with engineering teams to develop test plans
- Support calibration activities and maintain laboratory work instructions
- Gather test data, generate reports, and ensure tests are executed accurately and efficiently
Requirements for the Test Engineer I (1st shift):
- BS in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or 8+ years of related work experience
- Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits (required)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics (highly preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a testing or laboratory environment (preferred)
