IDR is seeking a Supply Chain Information Systems Manager to join a top client in Boston, Massachusetts. This organization operates within the healthcare supply chain industry, focusing on ensuring the operational stability and support of critical supply management systems. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing maintenance of essential applications within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Position Overview for the Supply Chain Information Systems Manager:
- Oversees the operation, maintenance, and future strategy of the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) and related systems.
- Provides steady-state support to ensure all existing supply chain applications are functioning optimally.
- Manages system updates, troubleshooting, vendor relations, and user support to maintain system uptime and performance.
- Coordinates system change management, reporting, and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and supply chain teams.
- Leads staff in executing daily tasks related to master file maintenance, report generation, and system improvements.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Information Systems Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; minimum of 5 years hospital supply chain systems management experience, or 10-15 years with progressive leadership roles.
- Direct experience with PeopleSoft MMIS and GHX.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and develop implementation timelines.
- Proven team leadership experience, including staff management and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems related to Materials Management.
