IDR is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is at the forefront of developing and maintaining business-critical Java applications within a dynamic industry. Position Overview for the Senior Java Developer:
- Responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java system, including changes to business logic and user interface.
- Extend reporting capabilities and enhance the system data model.
- Support application maintenance, including defect corrections and system enhancements across multiple environments.
- Participate in coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure security policies, code coverage, and testing standards are maintained, with availability for on-call support as needed.
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer:
- 8+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java.
- 8+ years of experience in applications development on the J2EE platform.
- 8+ years of experience writing SQL for relational databases.
- 8+ years of experience developing RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
- 8+ years of experience working with Spring AOP for transaction management and security.
