Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Benefits Administrator :

- Administer the company's retirement plans, including overseeing employee enrollments, deferral changes, distributions, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination between the payroll department and plan provider.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll contributions and plan data.
- Monitor plan compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements, and coordinate annual testing and audits.
- Respond to employee questions regarding plan participation, loan options, distributions, vesting, upcoming retirement and other plan features.

Required Skills for Senior Benefits Administrator :

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience
- Strong retirement plan administration experience
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting benefit programs
- Proficiency in HRIS applications
- Open enrollment experience
- Strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements and other laws affecting benefit programs including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, Section 125, DOL requirements.
- Outsourced vendor project management experience
