IDR is seeking a Senior Accountant to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves a short-term project focused on fixed asset management and accounts cleanup within a dynamic organization in the finance or corporate services industry.
Position Overview for the Senior Accountant:
- Manage and clean up CIP accounts and fixed assets across multiple entities.
- Collaborate with project managers and external teams to ensure accurate project tracking and account reconciliation.
- Proactively communicate project updates and escalate issues as necessary.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives related to fixed asset management.
Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently is a MUST.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
