IDR is seeking a Pricing & Contract Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in California. This role supports a fast-paced organization within the healthcare industry, focusing on contract administration, pricing support, and customer account management. The company emphasizes operational efficiency and precision in managing contract processes.
Position Overview for the Pricing & Contract Specialist:
- Assist with new account setup, customer ID maintenance, and basic membership updates
- Review, validate, and approve Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) portal activations
- Monitor contract membership inbox and resolve membership-related inquiries
- Support pricing requests, including preparing exhibits and administrative documentation
- Maintain request and pipeline trackers, support scheduling, and generate reports on operational metrics
Requirements for the Pricing & Contract Specialist:
- 2-3 years work experience in a similar operational role
- Ability to apply a detailed understanding of financial concepts and principles to business operations
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work and projects with minimal supervision
- Expert in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and reporting systems, SAP preferred
