IDR is seeking a Lead Network Security Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely. This role focuses on providing advanced network security solutions within a dynamic, enterprise environment. The organization specializes in cutting-edge networking and cybersecurity services, supporting multiple clients across the industry.
Position Overview for the Lead Network Security Engineer:
- Provide technical delivery of complex solutions that span across multiple technical streams with network security focus.
- Design and engineer effective and scalable network systems and solutions.
- Participate in evaluation, selection, and deployment of foundational network elements for a network buildout.
- Ensure solutions adhere to defined standards and best practices, and assist in developing these standards.
- Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams.
Requirements for the Lead Network Security Engineer:
- Proven experience with designing and implementing advanced network security solutions.
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, or Palo Alto NGFW Engineer (active).
- Strong experience with Cisco ISE, including wired/wireless deployments of 802.1x, TACACS+, upgrades, and migrations.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and MFA configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD), ASA, FMC deployment, and VPN configurations.
