2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm Every Saturday OFF Job Summary The Finishing and Soiled Department Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout designated interior and exterior areas of the facility. This role performs a variety of housekeeping and support duties, including cleaning workspaces, restrooms, break areas, equipment areas, and exterior grounds, while following all safety and sanitation standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain clean and sanitary breakroom and restroom areas, including removing trash, cleaning tables, and ensuring the area around the ice machine is dry and free of standing water. Ensure all floors are clean and slip‑free; promptly mop wet areas and place caution signage as required. Perform scheduled blowdown of equipment, ceilings, and areas beneath machinery, documenting completion in the blowdown log. Disinfect all tables and flat surfaces in the finishing area daily and record completion on the disinfectant log. Use dry vacuum equipment to remove lint and debris in areas that cannot be swept. Sweep the soil room and stairwells daily; remove mop heads after use and place them in the wash to prevent cross‑contamination. Sweep dock areas daily, including the dock parking lot; remove trash from parking areas, sidewalks, and office surroundings. Mop floors in the cart washer area daily and clean the finishing floor and scale area as needed. Mop washroom floors daily, ensuring mop heads are properly laundered after use to prevent cross‑contamination. Complete daily cleaning checklists as required by management. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the plant and exterior grounds, keeping floors free of debris and trash. Operate baler equipment as required. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 650 pounds. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
