IDR is seeking a IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading enterprise technology transformation projects within the healthcare sector, supporting state initiatives with a focus on modernization efforts.
Position Overview for the IT Project Manager:
- Lead teams of business analysts, data analysts, technical resources, and vendors supporting enterprise technology transformation projects
- Manage large-scale IT modernization initiatives, including MMIS and Provider Enrollment & Credentialing implementations
- Define and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with product owners, SMEs, and scrum teams
- Oversee project planning, execution, governance, risk management, and delivery activities
- Coordinate development teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful implementation of solutions
Requirements for the IT Project Manager:
- Strong enterprise IT Project Management experience leading large-scale implementations
- Experience supporting Medicaid, MMIS, MES, HHS, or healthcare technology initiatives strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing complex enterprise technology modernization projects
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps software delivery methodologies
