Gemini is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team at our location in Cannon Falls, MN, Garland TX or Liberty Lake, WA! This position is responsible for serving as a liaison between internal business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into functional and technical requirements. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for building strong working relationships across multiple levels of the organization through project and product management priorities, analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the delivery of IT solutions that align with organizational goals.. Wage Range: USD $78,700 - $104,000 per Year

Location: Cannon Falls, MN, Garland TX or Liberty Lake, WA

Type: Full Time – Hybrid (Onsite minimum 2 days per week)

Schedule: 5/8 hour days (Monday through Friday)

Travel: 10% or less


A day in the life of a Business Analyst at Gemini includes: 

  • Elicits, analyzes, documents, and validates business, product and system requirements
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to assess current state, business objectives, processes, pain points and resolves issues for future state processes and capabilities 
  • Translates business needs to functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and use cases
  • Supports discovery, solution design, system configuration, and testing efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements, quality standards and end user needs
  • Establishes specifications for new projects by developing project goals, phases, and impact analysis 
  • Attends and facilitates projects, workshops, requirement review sessions, and regular meetings providing professional consultation and clarification as needed 
  • Maintains system requirements for traceability, documentation and prioritization  
  • Supports product and pricing systems setup
  • Owns and manages assigned product backlog, road mapping, prioritizing features, enhancements, and technical improvements to meet customer expectations.
  • Supports change management and post-implementation activities
  • Maintains knowledge of functionality, dependencies, and impact with processes between integrated systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Skills and Abilities

  • Strong experience with requirements gathering and documentation techniques
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic data and order entry incidents while adhering to business standards.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Highly organized and adaptable in managing changing demands, multiple initiatives and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to support off-hours implementations. This is not often and when required is planned with considerations to schedules.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • 2-4 years of related experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Harris order and data entry
  • Experience with Agile tools and techniques: sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives, and refinement
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in manufacturing and sales environments
