This role is pivotal in supporting the Emergency Medicine Department, where you will exercise discretion and judgment to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Executive Assistant:

• Manage and coordinate the supervisor's calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless scheduling and logistics.

• Handle incoming issues and requests with professionalism, utilizing hospital reporting systems to triage and resolve matters efficiently.

• Plan and execute logistical and administrative requirements for meetings, seminars, and special events, including preparing agendas and coordinating technology needs.

• Support financial operations by tracking expenses, managing contracts, and handling purchase orders and reimbursements.

• Draft and edit correspondence, maintain effective filing systems, and interact with vendors and external parties.

Required Skills for Executive Assistant:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years as an Executive Assistant.

• Ability to manage projects independently from conception to completion, handling confidential matters with discretion.

• Strong analytical skills to resolve problems using scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, PeopleSoft, and other administrative systems.

• Experience with academic appointments and promotions, particularly within Harvard Medical School, is a plus.
