IDR is seeking a Event Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves managing global events with a particular focus on Executive Experience and supporting various event formats. The organization operates within the technology industry, emphasizing innovation and impactful event execution.
Position Overview for the Event Manager:
- Provide program management to deliver impactful global events, with a primary focus on Executive Experience programming.
- Collaborate with the events team and external agencies to support and execute a variety of event formats.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with goals, budgets, and deadlines.
- Support Special Interest Activities (SIAs) or Meeting Center management as needed.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements for the Event Manager:
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in event planning and management across a wide range of event formats, including large-scale programs.
- Proven experience managing Executive Experience programming as a primary function.
- Skilled in creating pre-event planning decks and post-event summaries.
- Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously within deadlines and budgets.
- Effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
