IDR is seeking a Employee Relations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Alpharetta, GA. The position focuses on managing workplace relationships, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Position Overview for the Employee Relations Specialist:
- Manage and resolve workplace conflicts, disputes, and grievances through fair investigations and mediation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws by assisting in policy development and implementation.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance management, workplace issues, and HR policies.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
- Maintain accurate records of all employee relations activities and prepare management reports.
Requirements for the Employee Relations Specialist:
- Proven work experience (minimum 3-5 years) as an Employee Relations Specialist or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (federal and state).
- Experience in conflict resolution and mediation, with a strong ability to de-escalate difficult or emotional situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate effective communication between parties.
