Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Deployment Technician:

- Deploying desktops/laptops to customers, ensuring punctuality and adherence to appointment schedules
- Installation of new workstations, including hardware, operating systems, and application software, following departmental standards
- Utilizing Microsoft SCCM to install OS image and software
- Researching and developing solutions to complex issues
- Documenting known issues and resolutions for internal team reference
- Reviewing literature, consulting with experts, and coordinating with vendors to identify appropriate hardware and/or software solutions
- This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire position

Required Skills for Desktop Deployment Technician:

- 1-3 years of experience supporting Windows 10 operating systems
- 1-3 years of experience supporting and configuring computer hardware/software
- 1-3 years of experience working in a technical customer service environment
- 1-3 years of experience working with a ticket tracking system (e.g., Microsoft SCSM, ServiceNow, Cherwell, etc.)
