IDR is seeking a AWS Solutions Architect (Java) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports a dynamic organization in the technology sector, focusing on cloud-based application development and modernization initiatives.
Position Overview for the AWS Solutions Architect (Java):
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance Java-based applications in cloud environments, primarily AWS
- Lead the development and implementation of microservices-based architectures
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and design patterns
- Oversee system integrations across multiple platforms and services using RESTful APIs
Requirements for the AWS Solutions Architect (Java):
- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on Java
- Proven experience designing and deploying applications in AWS cloud environments
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and system integrations
- Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
